Jharkhand

~The Great Kebab Factory: The Great Kebab Factory is a trademark Indian restaurant in the Radison Blu Hotel in Ranchi that specializes in traditional Mughlai cuisine. They serve platefuls of kebabs, a mouthwatering dish of meat and roasted vegetables mostly grilled on a skewer.

~ Jungli Moon Restaurant: Located in Kanka, presents a very unique concept with a nature-inspired décor – once you step inside its spacious rooms it feels almost as if you were wandering through thickets in the wild.

~ Flaves: This restaurant’s motto is ‘Serving Happiness’, and it seems to make many people happy since the place is always packed with customers of all ages and backgrounds. Be it professionals, families or food connoisseurs, Flaves attracts a massive crowd with its plethora of delicious treats.

~ Chashm-e-Shahi: Offers a rustic environment in one of Ranchi’s most visited hotspots, Gandhi Nagar. Although they also serve Chinese and Continental dishes, they mainly specialize in North Indian cuisine.



Sikkim

~ Mu Kimchi : It is totally worth climbing more than eighty steps to Mu Kimchi, whose interior is its highlight as it cleverly cultivates a spectacular ambiance, by balancing ceilings made of original bamboo and hand woven lamps with a contemporary minimalism which matches the sound systems bass-heavy mash-ups. This place serves perfect authentic Korean cuisine with all the flavors infused with the special cinnamon spice.

~ Dekid : This diner offers classic Bhutanese food and it is vouched for that it would be the best diner you would visit in Gangtok. It is three tabled place and offers just two main styles from which you can choose from: red ‘Shakam’ curry and the spiced ‘dashti’ cheese. It is a pure non-vegetarian restaurant so vegan people should skip through this diner.

~ Mama's Kitchen: This place is a typical half-timbered worn out building which gives it a rustic kind of look. The hostess of this place, Pema is an ever smiling lady wearing an apron. She prepares the meals on her own and then serves the people. So people usually go to this place if they want to have a genuine Sikkimese home cuisine. She also bakes fresh muffins in all shapes which are cute and yummy to eat as well.

~ Thakali :Symbolized very well by its name only thakali options are available here in the menu but the food prepared is warm and delicious. It is simply prepared and somehow is soothing to the taste buds even though very different types of spices and herbs are used in the dishes. It might seem a little restricted regarding options in the menu but it is more revolved around its bar wherein it serves various types of fancy cocktails and mocktails.



Assam

~ Red hot Chilli Pepper : Guwahati’s premier place for fine dining and Chinese cuisine. It has a nice and calm ambience leaving one to his or her own thoughts. The restaurant is also one of those few ones which serve authentic Chinese dishes without adding any local twist, a big plus point.

~ Ambrosia : The restaurant is a fine dining restaurant visited by people of Guwahati when they are on a romantic date or looking for classy interiors, great food and exceptional service. It serves a variety of cuisines from Assamese and Chinese to Asian and North Indian.

~ Grill Republica: A small restaurant in Guwahati famous for its grilled dishes. The interior is pretty small and most of the time you’ll have to wait outside, due to its popularity with customers.



Arunachal Pradesh

~ The Dragon: Fresh and hot food that exactly fits while you are in Tawang. This place has h authentic, delicious momos in Tawang. The chef makes each batch from scratch and fresh for every order and hence there might be waiting time.

~ Dharma Coffee House: If you visit tawang monastery,this place is a must visit it has a refreshing and calm environment. A place where you can relax and read some good novels. Ginger lemon honey tea is one of the most ordered items..

~ Tawang Food Court: A lively and comfortable place.The monpa thali is one of the must dishes...one must try when one visits.



Nagaland & Manipur

~ Naga Bowl Express: This restaurant, located in Supermarket, opposite to Indian Post Office is an awesome choice. Set-up in simple Naga style, you get to taste some food fusion too here. 

~ The Lunchroom: The Lunchroom in Landmark Colony, opposite West police station, bring you unforgettably good momos.

~ Aura Cakery & cafe : Aura Cakery and Cafe at Walford Junction with its classy ambiance is definitely a favorite. If you want to have a chill time relishing some truly good food, Aura Cafe is your pick.

~ Zaika : If you are craving for delicious North Indian cuisines, Zaika is the place to be.It is a perfect place to hangout with family and friends amidst nice ambience, great food and quick and good service by the courteous staff.

~ Ok hotel :OK Hotel is a pretty popular place in Manipur among the locals. It is known to serve delicious chicken cuisine and is also economical at the same time. The place is crowded during the peak lunch time. If you are in a mood to have your lunch sitting cosily at home, fret not. They provide takeaway facilities.



Mizoram

~ Zamzo : Zamzo restaurant of Hotel Floria has a tribal touch to it with handwoven tribal table cloths. Serving continental dishes, Thai curries and North Indian dishes the restaurant has a variety of dishes with a spacious environment.

~ Magnolia Restaurant :The excellent restaurant in the Hotel Regency serves tasty Mizo, Continental and Chinese fare in a clean, comfortable environment.

~ Chocolate Room: Come for the colourful decor and comfort food: indulgent cakes, hot and cold chocolate drinks, tea, coffee, burgers, pasta, nachos, and chicken and chips. You can acquire a chocolate Taj Mahal for ₹895.



Tripura

~ Khunti Kadai :You can have delicious food with variety of items and good service at affordable price. If you come to Agartala then you must come to Khunti Kadai and have your lunch and dinner over there.



West Bengal

~ Oh! Calcutta : A wonderful place to start your Bengali culinary journey as it serves the mainstays of traditional Bengali cuisine. Menu favorites include the smoked boneless hilsa and smoked bhekti, which is marinated with mustard paste and green chillies then wrapped in banana leaf and steamed. Finish off your meal with some of Kolkata’s famous sweets, including mishti doi, a traditional Bengali sweetened yoghurt.

~ Kewpie's Kitchen : With an ambience similar to that of a traditional Bengali home, Kewpie’s Kitchen is a true family affair headed by chef Rakhi Purnima Dasgupta. It seeks to prepare authentic home-cooked Bengali food in an eclectic, relaxed dining environment. Using recipes passed down from Rakhi’s chef-mother Meenakshi Dasgupta, Kewpie’s Kitchen serves traditional Bengali cuisine including the thali platter with a mix of small dishes served in terra cotta pots.

~ Nahoum and Sons:A long-standing Kolkata icon, the bakery was first established by Nahoum Israel in 1902, an Iraqi-Jew who immigrated from Baghdad. In the early half of the century, anywhere between 3,000 to 5,000 Jewish people sought refuge in this bustling city where they set up their own schools, synagogues and newspapers and brought with them traditional Jewish foods.

~ Flury: Kolkata’s legendary tearoom located on Park Street, which was established under the British Raj in 1927. Headed by chef Vikar Kumas, Flurys continues to exude Old World charm with a lavish spread of luxurious cakes, indulgent pastries, rich puddings and, a special Flurys pride, some of the best single-origin chocolates outside of Europe.



Odisha

~Silver Streak : One of Bhubaneswar’s most acclaimed restaurants, Silver Streak is the name that comes to mind when Chinese cuisine is mentioned. The reason for Silver Streak’s success lies in its attitude. Unlike most restaurants serving Chinese cuisine, Silver Streak keeps the dishes authentic.

~ Garam Masala: One of the well known restaurants in Bhubaneswar, Garam Masala lives up to its name, with its food tilting towards the spicier side. The menu offers a range of Chinese and North Indian dishes. The restaurant has a very laid back feel, looking more like a café with its hanging lights and simple seating arrangement.

~ Nakli Dhaba : One of Bhubaneswar’s most famous restaurants, Nakli Dhaba tries to incorporate the true atmosphere of a highway dhaba (entries on the highway for tired drivers). The décor of the place resembles a real dhaba with huge truck tires, a truck dismantled into two and a village well. The food is mainly Punjabi cuisine and dishes from the local regions.



Chhattisgarh

~ Momo's Adda: Momo’s Adda in Raipur serves Chinese Cuisines. They prepare the best momo’s which are delicious and mouth-watering. A variety of momos is available here like Simple Steamed Momo, Fried Momo, Chinese Momo, Paneer Momo, and Tandoori Momos. They also make delectable snack items.

~ Pashmina:Pashmina Restaurant serves North-Indian and South-Indian Cuisines. The interiors of the restaurant are well-designed and sophisticated. They prepare the authentic delicacies which have been delicious since their inception.

~ Nukkad: Nukkad, The Teafe is a restaurant which serves snacks and beverages. They make Masala Aloo Sandwich, Paneer Khajana, Schezwan Macroni, Makhni Paneer Maggi, Momos Chilly, Paneer Sandwich, Noodles, Pastas, and Bhurji Sandwich. They have beautiful and artistic interior decorations.


Telangana

~ Simply South: Food means serious business at chef Chalapathi Rao's Simply South; the menu is an amalgamation of must-try preparations from five South Indian states—Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu—so you're definitely going to have a hard time picking and choosing.

~ Rayalseema Ruchulu: This multi-outlet restaurant aims to showcase the very best of Telangana, Andhra and Rayalseema cuisine. It is best-known for its veg and non-veg thali options; if you're only going to have one, we suggest ordering the Raj Bhojanam thali (only available on the weekend).

~ Ulavacharu: Authentic Andhra coastal food is the piece de resistance at Ulavacharu; don't fall for the biryani. Instead, order the Bamboo Chicken and the Raju Gari Kodi Palav which is the rice preparation that Ulavacaharu is known for.

~ Garden Restaurant:Garden first began in the early 1940s as a small tea shop that served snacks but is now a household name in Hyderabad.



Andhra Pradesh

~ Bamboo Bay: One of three restaurants located at The Park Hotel on Visakhapatnam’s scenic Beach Road. Situated right on the beach, Bamboo Bay’s enviable location is perfect for enjoying spectacular sunsets and picturesque views of the Bay of Bengal. Its tribal chic motif and candlelit ambiance go well with its menu of spice-laden Indian specialty dishes.

~ Ming Garden:Based at Visakhapatnam’s Gateway Hotel, Ming Garden brings the authentic, fiery tastes of China’s Szechwan province to Andhra Pradesh diners. Many previous diners at Ming Garden have hailed the restaurant as the best place to sample genuine Chinese food.



Karnataka

~ Truffles :Truffles has built a reputation in Bangalore for having mean burgers and delicious steak. Out of all the best restaurants in Bangalore, this one, probably, has the most amount of reserved tables for a fast-food joint.

~ Grasshopper : Ran by fashion designer duo Sonali Sattar and Himanshi Dimri, Grasshopper provides guests with a fusion of the best food and design, within its four walls. The perfect spot for an unhurried, relaxing meal far from the bustle of urban life, Grasshopper is situated on the duo’s farm – an appealing choice for many city dwellers.

~ I & Monkey :An innovative and tasty lunch or dinner. The minimalist design of the restaurant is juxtaposed against the exciting and eclectic menu, which combines Kerala and Western cuisines. Expect spicy broths and curries for main course, followed by cooling American favourites such as Mississippi mud pie for dessert.




Tamil Nadu

~ On the Go: Coimbatore’s most eccentric and contemporary restaurants. It has an eclectic menu ranging from diverse Italian dishes to succulent North Indian fare and delectable desserts.

~ Junior Kupanna:The owner, Mr. Kuppanna had only one aim when he opened this restaurant -creating food that is delicious and unique. The restaurant has stayed true to this goal for the last 55 years.

~ Bird on Tree:It has a warm and laid-back ambiance with classy, arty decor and an interior providing a cheerful feel. The menu has a bit of everything on it, from Thai to North Indian and Chinese cuisine, as well as delicious desserts.


Kerala

~ Dal Roti: Whilst traditional South Indian fare is both flavourful and diverse, every now and again the call for an element of regional variety arises. Dal Roti provides the palate with a variety of Northern Indian delights.

~ Ginger House Restaurant: The Ginger House specialises in serving delicious food accompanied by a slice of history. As India’s only restaurant located within a museum, the restaurant makes the most of its evocative location. Tucked behind an antique warehouse, everything in Ginger House tells a tale from history.

~ Kashi Art Cafe: a Zen-like oasis of calm in an otherwise bustling city. The space also doubles as an art gallery and artist residency space and for this reason, artists and art enthusiasts alike flock to rest their weary feet at this one-of-a-kind venue.

~ Qissa Cafe : This cafe is off the main street, next to an alleyway .They serve breakfast here and the meals, juices. My personal favorite is the chocolate cake an incase you are a chocolate lover , try the hot chocolate too.

~ India Coffee House : A traditional South Indian Restaurant with a different space for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Their dosas and coffee are a must try.
